Macaroni art, also referred to as pasta art, is artwork that is made of dry macaroni or other shaped pasta. The macaroni gets glued on a surface to produce a mosaic. However, works may also take the form of a sculpture. Many will know this from arts and crafts classes from pre-school. Today, it has evolved to become an art form practiced by adults.
The pasta can be painted all left natural. It is advisable to varnish a macaroni art project when finished to protect it.
